History In 2007, Schackstudion was a blog for the tours between tournaments that never ended – that year I played 211 games. It has also named five tournaments: IM 2009, GM 2011, refugees 2016, IM 2019 and IM 2022. One of them was inspired by a journey to Hungary. In February 2013, Schackstudion was registred as a proprietorship and started to offset travel carbon emissions by tree projects (859 trees). Today it supports Naturarvet (which buys and saves old forests in Sweden) and Olydig Folkomröstning. I once started to run to improve focus at the board, but it soon became the opposite: it took focus from the board. Every distance has its charm, from marathon (2:28) to 800 meter (2.02.73) and 100 meter with flying start (10.20).
